Clár ICH CLG
Community Services Programme
Clár ICH is part-funded for a manager and 5 fulltime employees by 'The Community Services Programme (CSP) 2010-2012' administered by Pobal since 2006. A key priority of the company is to maximise existing resources by working in partnership with key organisations such as South West Mayo Development Company, Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, Carillion, Mayo County Council, Clár IRD and the HSE to name a few. These successful partnerships have proved productive at a time when financial resources are scarce. Clár ICH in 2011 continues to be a progressive and dynamic organisation responding to the practical needs of the elderly and people with disabilities using a practical approach. This is achieved through the delivery of the following projects:
- The development of Mayfield Sheltered Housing Project
- The advancement of Roundfort Social Housing Project
- The provision of 4 homes under the Rural Regeneration Programme
- The delivery of the Warmer Homes Scheme in South West Mayo, North East Mayo and Achill Island
- The delivery of The Care and Repair Programme throughout South West Mayo
- The management and maintenance of a 25 units of social housing at The Lawn, Claremorris
